What to expect from technology...

1. How technology is going to affect how your students are going to be learning

From my very own point of view, i think technology will give super-extra access to students, without considering the age. They will no longer depends on teachers and discussions in the classroom. Students are free to find almost anything via the net (one of the most familiar technology nowadays), either educational or non-educational, 24/7. One day, it is not impossible if we find that there are a big gaps on students performance in education. Why did i said so? I do believe if students are given freedom to learn on their own, they will show different achievement, all depends on their own efforts towards self-learning. Vice versa, we could also see an increasing number of those who success in education sector as they gain more informations in the net. After all, it is not fully depends on how much the students use the net, but how they use the informations in the net to help them in their learning.
Besides, all the gadgets that are prepared by educational institutions will really makes the learning process less boring and meaningless. The present of those stuffs would really motivate students, not only young learners but also adult learners, in improving themselves in terms of education achievement. Until now, I could only see the advantages of these gadgets, and hope no serious impacts will occur in the future as the technology become more advanced.
The most important thing to be considered as dealing with the technology is a good skill of monitoring the learners. As for now, what we can do is... only wait and see, what will happen as time goes by... hoping that more advantages will be gain from the technology
.

2. How you as a teacher will be learning

'Teachers' are also 'students', in their own way. So, there are not so much different with other learners except for their maturity and priority, perhaps. I could say that the technology will helps teachers in terms of preparing the teaching aids and give them more ideas on constructing more fun activities for their students, as what we already know. I could say teachers are providing, not really learning in this case. Agree?
Actually, I am not sure whether the technology will help or burden the teachers, as they compete with each other to provide useful and interesting material. Sure it is not a burden for the techno freaks. How about the technophobia? This is when the term 'learning' applied. Considering this situation, do teachers successful in guiding their students while they themselves are still learning...?

F.I.R.S.T

this is my first time creating a blog, which im not familiar with... i got really irritated when talking about technology. honestly, nothing of these stuffs that could really attract my attention when the others are crazy creating this and that... actually, im not expose to the usage of the technology really well, but still, when slowly i get to know more about this from friends, i could still hardly love it present... dont know why, but its the fact.

after all, i have to admit that we are treated as advanced peoples by only knowing and using all this stuff. and i cant deny the fact that this technology had brought us far from what we can imagine. from my previous little experiences and observations, technology really helps pupils and also teachers in teaching and learning activities. and sometimes im impress on how peoples get connected and communicate via this new decease. not only that, there are also peoples who ever think of commit crimes through this real+imagination link. maybe that is only one little part of the technology... i believe there are still thousands of pros and cons...as we all know.

back to myself, i still cant love it!!!

maybe its not my own problem alone... how peoples use it wrongly that makes me sick!
anyway, i still have to learn to use it right? for the sake of my future career... (yuks!)

just hope i can stand it...and starting to love it...

arios..
muah to all!
